My heart is
still heavy with grief for all of those
whose lives were forever altered by the 9-11-01 tragedy.
Just when I think I could not possibly shed another tear, I do. But ...
I'm also encouraged. I have seen this Nation come together in the face of
adversity.
I've seen the selfless sacrifice our Military Men & Women & their
families give.
I am so proud of the other Nations who have joined
with Americans in our attempts to make our world safer and more secure.
I send this greeting with great hopes that each of you feel peace in your
hearts
and that as a Nation we can soon, once again feel secure in knowing
that when our loved ones walk out the door, they stand a better chance, of
returning.
